Between 1945 and 1980, the Celebration of Excellence, formally known as the Annual General Meeting, of the RSC was hosted at least once in every province of Canada, at 25 universities from coast to coast. In 2013, the RSC resumed the practice of moving the AGM around the country, beginning with a visit to Banff, Alberta. Following many successful, cross-Canada events, the 2017 COE will take place in friendly Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Join us November 23-26, 2017 in Winnipeg as we Promote Canadian research and scholarly and artistic accomplishments; Recognize academic and artistic excellence; and Advise governments, NGOs, and the Canadian public on matters of public importance.
